I love, love…

LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND

Whether you are welcoming a new little one into your family or saying goodbye to your precious loved one.

We are all uniquely special.

Where love dwells

Namings

Welcoming a little one into the world is an incredible blessing. I offer an alternative to families who prefer not to have a religious ceremony. A naming ceremony is a truly memorable occasion to celebrate your baby’s safe arrival or welcome an adopted child to the family.

Weddings

Your wedding/civil ceremony or vow renewal should be as unique as you & your relationship telling your own magical story. I work with you to create your special celebration, making it a deeply significant occasion, using personal touches & symbolism to make it both meaningful & inspiring.

Funeral

Funerals

I approach funerals with complete dignity and respect and co-create a funeral that reflects, honours and celebrates your loved one’s life story. I conduct non-religious & spiritual ceremonies it is entirely up to you. An end of life ceremony offers you an opportunity to acknowledge your loss and to say goodbye.

Wedding or Civil Ceremony

Your wedding/civil ceremony should be as unique as you and your relationship telling your own magical story. I will work with you to create a special celebration, making it a deeply personal ceremony and if you agree, using symbolic actions to make the occasion both meaningful and inspiring. It is important to note that in order to make your marriage legally binding you will need to arrange to register your marriage at your local Registry Office.

Renewal of Vows

A vow renewal is a beautiful way to re-affirm your commitment to your partner and commemorate a love that has deepened since you made your original vows. Whether you want to celebrate with just the two of you, or with lots of family and friends (or anything in between). We will co-create your ceremony to be unique and reflective of your love, life, and both of your personalities.

Naming or Adoption Ceremony

Naming ceremonies are often held for babies or young children, but they can be for anyone, at any age, for birth children or adopted children. I offer guidance about the day, create a bespoke script incorporating the elements that are important to you and offer ideas for the shaping of your unique ceremony. For every ceremony I conduct I make a donation to Martin House Children’s Hospice, which provides children with life-threatening conditions with support as well as care for the whole family.

Commitment or Blending Ceremony

Many families these days are “blended” perhaps with children from one or both sides from previous relationships. It is a beautiful expression of love to arrange a ceremony to unite families for any reason and is a wonderful way of celebrating renewed commitment and love. A sand blending ritual is a lovely way to symbolically show the joining of two lives and their families into a new and wider extended family.

Milestone Ceremony

Milestone ceremonies mark the transitions in our lives and a ceremony has the power to help us release the past and move into a new phase with the support of others. We are well aware of weddings and funerals, but you can celebrate a house warming, new business opening, coming of age, empty nest, divorce or retirement in your own way and I can work with you to create a sense of transformation and progress.

Funerals

Funeral

We are never really prepared for end of life, let me share your journey through this transition. I can help you create a meaningful and very personalised ceremony to honour your loved one. From memories that you and your family have, I can weave together a script including a eulogy and help you with ideas for symbolic gestures, music, poetry and readings. My aim is to truly reflect the story of your loved one with care, compassion and respect.
